The marriage of socks and shoes emerged as a London Fashion Week chin-stroker.
Not for the faint hearted, but – by Jove – we’ve got them. Cashmere and silk mix toeless black or caramel socks (£49), interwoven with ethereal strands of sparkling Lurex. Nice to free up the toes – don’t you think? Certainly limits any opportunities for biblical allusion.
For the outright fearless among you, this toelessness creates a canvas for Chanel’s Jade nail polish. One step too far?
