The Fondant Collection of six pastel shawls is a new addition to our luxurious and prized selection of hand spun and hand woven pure cashmere shawls and reflects this season’s trend for pastels. This fondant orange cashmere ring shawl features the palest soft-hued pastel orange. Delicate and feminine it is sublimely soft to the skin, and wonderfully warm yet light. The signature of the Kashmiri artisan who made it is embroidered in one corner.
Our signature cashmere ring shawls, so called because the cashmere yarn is so fine it will pass through a wedding ring, are hand spun and hand woven on traditional hand looms. Meticulously crafted by Kashmiri artisans using skills and centuries old techniques passed down from generation to generation these exquisitely made shawls are prized the world over and increasingly hard to find as machine made cashmere proliferates and hand work skills begin to fade
