In The Black means that as you shop, you earn points that can be converted to a cash discount on subsequent orders. You can spend these at Black.co.uk whenever you like; you can use them each time you make a purchase or you can save them up and use them all at once. These points are called Member Points and you can see how many points an item is worth in the product information supplied on each product page:

With each purchase you make, you will be given 5 points for every £1 that you spend. Each point is worth 1p, so this equates to a saving of 5%. The more you spend, the greater the saving. For example:

There is no need to register. To become a member, just start shopping.

You become a member automatically with your very first purchase at Black.co.uk. The information that you enter when making an order is all we need to set you up with an Account. This information includes your name, address and email address and perhaps telephone number (if you chose to enter it). It DOES NOT include sensitive information such as credit card details.

Your account is for your own reference and allows you to track and trace your order, edit billing and shipping information, create a wishlist and store your member's points. It also ensures that next time you make a purchase from Black.co.uk, your Member Points will be recalled automatically at the checkout, so there is no need to log-in.

IN THE BLACK - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The In The Black loyalty scheme is promoted and operated by Black Ltd, PO Box 655, East Grinstead, RH19 4UJ

2. Anyone who registers their details can join at the time of making their first purchase.

3. Once you have registered and made your first purchase you will be awarded points for that first purchase and all subsequent purchases.

4. If we have reason to believe you are abusing the scheme we can take any action we consider appropriate, including withholding points previously credited to your account.

5. Points will be credited to your account at the time you buy products included in the scheme. There may be occasions when certain products are excluded from the scheme.

6. Black Ltd reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the scheme at any time.

7. Black Ltd reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the scheme including the value of points. If any such change is made we will give notice of this change on our website.

8. You will receive points on qualifying purchases at the rate published from time to time on our website.

9. You will be awarded your points each time you make a purchase. These will be credited to your account and the number of points accumulated will be displayed when you sign-in to ‘My Account’.

10. You can spend your accumulated points when you make a purchase by using them as a discount against the published price of that purchase. Simply fill in the appropriate section when you check out. Points earned for that particular purchase will be valid for use against a future purchase. The points used will be deducted from the total number of points on your account.

11. If you place an order and then subsequently cancel it, your points will be removed on confirmation of the cancellation.

12. If you return a product for any reason we will deduct from your account the points you collected when you bought that product.

13. If you return a product that was purchased with your In The Black points we will refund the actual price you paid, not the full published price. We will then credit your Account with the points you used for that purchase.
