Whomever you are buying for, we hope that the experience will be as simple as possible. This is why we have split this section into two parts; 'Shop By Product' and 'Shop By Fabric'.

Perhaps you don't have a firm idea of what you're looking for - you may be buying a gift. Rather than going directly to our Gifts category, you might prefer to Shop By Fabric, knowing that the person for whom you're buying loves cashmere, or nappa leather, linen or maybe silk (she may very well like this Black and Ecru Herringbone Silk Scarf). By clicking on 'Silk' for example, you can take some time to browse through our extensive range of silk or silky products, such as silk scarves, satin evening gloves, silk cushions and silk nightwear.

If you are looking for a specific garment, for example a lightweight cashmere scarf, it might be worth using our search facility at the top right of each page. However, if this is your first time on our website, you might prefer to take a look around first. We have an extensive collection of men's accessories, including Cashmere Scarves, Evening Scarves, Leather Gloves, Cashmere Gloves, Cufflinks, Beanie Hats, Ties and so on. If you are shopping for a man and are not sure exactly what to buy him, it might be worth exploring our 'Shop By Fabric' route. Often,
the very idea of cashmere, for example, can be great way to get the creative present-buying juices going. The scarf on the left, for example, is cashmere, merino wool and silk; a plethora of beautiful fabrics. Shopping for the home is a little different from shopping for people. You will tend to have a more specific product in mind. It is a little easier to buy for homes. (Homes tend not to want to exchange things for a bigger size or return them for cash). This is why we have arranged our homeware products into the following categories: 'Shop by Room' and 'Shop by Object'.
If you hover your mouse over the H O M E W A R E button at the top of this page you will see these two categories spread across two columns. The first is 'Shop By Room' and this includes Dining Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom, Outside and Beyond (for the adventurous). It might be useful to shop in this way if you are looking for some inspiration on styling a particular room. For example, if you were looking for some black bed linen, you might also consider teaming it with silk cushions, or perhaps a black or charcoal grey cashmere throw. If you were looking for some white waffle towels for your bathroom, you might like to couple them with a white waffle towelling washbag.
Alternatively, you might be on the lookout for a black garlic crusher and don't much fancy trawling through our Kitchen department to find it. This is where 'Shop by Object' should come in handy. Here you can choose from a list of homeware products, from placemats, napkins, tablerunners, trinket boxes, cashmere throws, French-made carrot julienners and linen potholders. Gift-buying is difficult at the best of times, unless you have been given detailed specifications (like thread-count, mommie weight, yarn-ply). To simplify it, we have arranged our gifts based on whom you are shopping for, how much money you're willing to spend and for what occasion. If you hover your mouse over the G I F T S button at the top of this page you will see two columns; one is headed 'Shop by Price' and the other 'Shop by Occasion'. This means that if you are looking for a gift for a woman and you have less than £25 to spend, you will be given a wide selection gifts from which to choose. If you are looking for something extraordinary and on this occasion money is no object, why not take a look at our Black Luxury Gifts selection, a range of our high-luxury products comprising a superfine cashmere trouser suit, black Tahitian pearl chokers, a hand-applied Swarovski crystal tie.
Possibly as vital as choosing the correct gift is knowing how the gift will arrive. All of our products are wrapped in glossy black cellophane, which provides a sturdy yet sleek container for the gift as it travels intrediply through our postal systems. Then the item will be inserted into a black cotton envelope branded Black discreetly on the bottom right corner, which is tied together with little grey tie. This is then covered by a white plastic mailing bag - unbranded, so as not to give the game away. Alternatively, you can pay for gift-wrapping at the checkout for £10 per item.
