These scarves, inspired by the timeless beauty of iconic Liberty Archive prints, bring together the rich history of design with a fresh, unique and contemporary aesthetic.
Initial Meeting & Picking Designs
The journey of this collection began with an inspired meeting between Toby Logue and Susan Blakey at the elegant Langham Hotel in London. Located just a stone's throw from the historic Liberty of London, the setting itself was steeped in the rich legacy of British fashion.

Over a refined afternoon tea, Toby and Susan immersed themselves in a treasure trove of Liberty archive prints, each bursting with its own story and charm. This curated selection process focused on identifying patterns that would resonate with both heritage and modernity.
After much deliberation, four captivating designs were chosen: Peacock, Paisley, Pineapple, and Floral. Each of these designs was meticulously selected to celebrate the depth of Liberty's archive while infusing a modern twist that resonates with our style focused customers.
Photographing the Prints & Designing the Scarves
With the chosen designs in hand, the next challenge was to capture the perfect sections of each print, ensuring they translated beautifully onto fabric. Our dedicated team embarked on a detailed photographic journey to highlight the most vibrant and intricate sections of each design.
This phase demanded an eye for detail and a passion for colour, as every inch of the print was examined to ensure it captured the bold and unique aesthetic we aimed to achieve. The result was a series of dynamic designs that promise to make a statement, each scarf a blend of intense hues and captivating patterns that reflect a deep appreciation for both traditional and contemporary design elements.
Creating the Prototypes
The next step in the process involved translating these stunning designs from photograph to prototype. This required printing the designs on paper cut to the exact dimensions of the scarf — 200 cm by 70 cm — to ensure the final product would maintain the integrity and beauty of the original print.

The tactile and visual assessment was crucial; the team scrutinized the prototypes, making adjustments to colour saturation and placement until a perfect harmony was achieved. This meticulous process guaranteed that what began as a selection of prints could transition seamlessly into a wearable work of art.
Creating the Scarves
With the prototypes perfected, the designs journeyed to our trusted fabric artisans in Kashmir. Known for its luxurious blend of cashmere and silk, our chosen yarn provided the ideal canvas to bring these prints to life.

Through digital printing technologies, the vibrant designs were transferred onto the fabric, ensuring each wrap was a flawless representation of the original vision. Once completed, these luxurious samples returned to the UK, where they were assessed against rigorous quality standards and captured in professional photography sessions to showcase their elegance and versatility on models.
