Women's Necklaces

The necklace has its origins in ancient civilisation and folklore has it that, as the necklace was worn close to the heart, it was designed to attract love. In early times necklaces were made from shells, bird feathers, bones and even teeth. As humans discovered how to melt metal it became possible to craft bronze necklaces, silver necklaces and gold necklaces. Innovation in jewellery design and technology has seen creative use of materials like rubber and cashmere in the manufacture of chokers, pendants and collars.
