Created to celebrate the 65th birthday of celebrated British artist Grayson Perry, this Liberty design draws inspiration from Delusions of Grandeur at The Wallace Collection.
At its heart is Shirley Smith, Perry’s fictional alter ego — a self-proclaimed heiress to the Wallace Collection’s treasures. Her imagined world inspires a richly eclectic Liberty pattern where, hidden among the details, you might spot a naïve sketch of Hertford House (home to the Wallace Collection) and a scattering of cats, another of her great passions.
