Notes from the Artist:
Sunblaze depicts the heat of the blazing sun burning strongly and brightly in vivid tones of reds and blue accented with softer tones shadows Created using acrylic paint as a starting point, pouring, pushing and manipulating the paint in the directions that felt right. I then built up the images with oil glazes, using palette knives, brushes and other homemade tools to add texture and depth. I let each painting grow organically and take a direction of its own.
