A Guide To Men's Wedding Style | Part 2: The Evening Wedding

The second part in our guide to men's wedding style is the evening wedding. An event which is becoming ever more popular especially during the winter months. Discover how to accessorise the classic dinner jacket with luxury evening accessories.

A Guide To Men's Wedding Style | Part 2: The Evening Wedding

Evening wedding services and evening wedding receptions often call for a dinner suit and black tie. With most men wearing similar dinner jackets use accessories to create individual sartorial style. An overly ruffled 70s style shirt is no answer to this.

Men's evening accessories are a key differentiator. A black silk bow tie and white silk pocket square to contrast against your black jacket are evening wear essentials. If you want to go for added elegance choose a classic paisley tie and pocket square as we have done.

Bow Tie: Black Paisley Silk Bow Tie    Pocket Square: Ivory Paisley Silk Pokcet Square    Cufflinks: Sterling Silver Ball Cufflinks   Scarf: Black and White Double Sided Silk Scarf     Belt: Classic Black Leather Belt      Dinner Suit: Paul Smith     Shirt: Burberry  Shoes: Church's

For a luxurious touch, opt for fine black silk socks or black cashmere dress socks in an extra fine knit. To complete your look, we would recommend a silk evening scarf either in black or white with contrast microdots. If you’re feeling bold, however, and want to make a lasting impression go for our luxury black and white double sided silk evening scarf with hand-knotted tassels and finish the ensemble with a pair of sterling silver ball cufflinks.

Later this month we'll feature the final part of our guide to men's wedding style with a look at the traditional morning suit.
