The embroidery is exceptionally detailed in pastel pink and green. The same colours are reprised on the borders. These shawls take many months of painstaking concentration to complete and are real works of art which become heirlooms. Sublimely soft and warm yet light Kashmiri pashmina shawls are prized the world over. Embroidered in one corner are the initials of the artisans who made it.
