The look he went for is very preppy and centres around the classic combination of blue (blue micro check shirt) and brown (khaki shorts) which always compliment each other well.
Another trick Adam’s executed well is pairing the knitted silk tie with a check pattern shirt. As the texture of a knitted tie is slightly softer than traditional silk ties, it gives the accessory more of an ‘off-duty’ feel and can be worn with more casual shirt patterns such as checks.
